Oral Roberts died today at a Newport Beach hospital from complications from pneumonia. He was 91. Roberts was one of the founding pioneers of the Prosperity Gospel in the 20th century and had a large following in the charismatic sector. By 1980 Roberts was recognized by 84% of Americans so “Oral Roberts” was a common name in America and worldwide.
