Being a new born Christian can be a tough challenge and more so if you feel like you are alone but the best part is, you are not alone! Jesus is with you and guiding you through this time even if no one else is there to help. When you are feeling like no one else is there the Devil will try and do everything he can to torment you and cause you to sin. You must learn how to battle against the devil but this is something that you can not do on your own strength.

The very first thing that you should plan on doing every day is read the bible. Satan will try hard to come against you and make it so you are not reading the bible. Every time you sit down and start reading it the phone will ring or either someone will come over. That’s why you should reserve time each day, turn off the phone, and ask people to not bother you or either call them back when you are done. Now there are some that can do around one hour of bible study while others don’t have that much time and only do half an hour. The most important thing is you are reading the Bible and learning about it. This will be your weapon in hard times and in order to grow strong in the Lord and fight off evil you must memorize scripture and be able to say it loud and strong. There are many good books in the bible that you can start off with learning, such as Genesis but most start with reading the New Testament books like Matthew, Luke, John and acts because it can help give a better understanding to Christianity.

When you are reading the bible and just starting out it’s always a good idea to have someone there with you. Having a bible partner can help with many things and the two of you can grow in the Lord together. Reading scriptures outloud and praying together can help calm down the spirit and reduce stress. Jesus says in Matthew 18:20 that when two or three come together in his name, he will be there with them. This will make your bible study time even more powerful and effective.

There are several thing that bible proves that Jesus is God. When Jesus stepped into the land of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples regarding what people taking about him and they said “some say that you are Elijah, some say you are prophets. Jesus asked what you think of me. Simon replied that, you are the Christ, son of living God. Jesus said to him “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 16:13-16).

The testimony of John reveals the deity of Jesus to this world. When john Baptist was in wilderness, the Jews wanted to know who he is so in-order to know they send priest and Levites to him. John said to them neither he was not messiah or savior what you think. But when he Baptist Christ john said “I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God’” (John 1:33,34)

Jesus said to the people during messaging to them that “his miracles where greater witness than John for whom his father hath send him to finish his works” (John 5:31-36). No one in this world had made any genuine miracles as Jesus did to the needy and no one has declared them as messiah of this world. The prophets who lived in those days where able to make miracles but none could be declared as the Christ. Jesus said to his disciples that “many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am Christ’” (Matt. 24:5) but I am the Way, Life and Truth.

It is vital for every Christians to believe in the deity of Christ as it is the key for our salvation. Denying or unbelieving with deity of Christ literally means you are denying his miracle and denying his crucification for us. When you read through the bible in John (14:6) we can find and believe in the word of god “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me”.

We can find many prerogatives in bible where the Christ claims about his deity.

The first thing when we read through Mark (2:5) we can find, his claims regarding forgiving sins. The paralytic was lowered into the roof by their friends regardless of so many crowds who gathered there and their total faith was Jesus can make miracle and could heal him. Jesus did not react to that person physical condition or his need to heal him. He said “My son, your sins are forgiven” and he was healed.

The second thing, Jesus speaks about judging this entire world in versus of (Mathew 25:31). Jesus sits on his mighty throne and will separate the sheep from the goat. The people will be judged according to their sins and how well they have been serving and carrying the word of God. This is a power in which Jesus can alone exercise.

The third thing which reveals the clear sign of Jesus self understanding during the charge of condemnation filed over him. When reading through bible of (John 19:7) chapter “he has made himself the son of God”. Matthew tells to the high priest to have said at the trial, “I adjure you by the living God; tell us, if you are the Christ, the Son of God” (Matthew 26:63). Jesus commented to this by, “You have said so. But I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Matthew 26:64).
